David Slepak is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Angle Health, where he leads the West sales team and helps drive national marketing strategy. He works collaboratively across the organization to deliver a best-in-class health plan experience for brokers, employers, and members. David brings more than 15 years of experience in health insurance, along with over 30 years of experience in marketing and sales.
A recognized national speaker and thought leader, David is actively involved with NABIP and is passionate about helping the industry better understand the future of healthcare and benefits. He also teaches continuing education classes focused on AI and health insurance, helping brokers, consultants, and industry professionals understand how emerging technologies are reshaping the landscape.
Known for blending strategic vision with practical execution, David is passionate about building stronger partnerships, developing high-performing teams, and creating meaningful conversations that move the industry forward. Through his Fireside Chats, he often ties leadership and progress back to the idea of the “key log” — the critical point of leverage that keeps things moving, removes friction, and helps organizations, partners, and people flow forward with greater purpose.
Driven by adventure, David brings the same energy to life outside of work. When he is not focused on helping improve the healthcare system, he enjoys riding motorcycles, wake surfing, sailing, cycling, camping, and exploring the outdoors. David lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife and their German Shepherd, Karsten.
